Wapa Maya Sobering Up Centre in Port Hedland
The Sobering Up Centre is a 16-bed facility that operates between 4:00pm and 8:00am, Monday to Friday inclusive, and all Public Holidays. The Sobering Up Centre is designed to provide our clients with a safe environment and access to bathroom facilities, a bed, clean clothes, simple nutritious meals, non-judgemental, non-discriminatory care. Referrals to other agencies and services can be made if required.
Breakfast Program
Start the day off right with a hot shower, some clean clothes, and a nutritious meal at our morning breakfast program. Monday to Friday, you will also have the opportunity to yarn with our Counsellors and enjoy some arts and crafts.

Soup Kitchen Program
Finish the day with a nutritious meal.
